Breasts Battle Elements
Although both men and women have breasts, it is women that, due to the factors of protrusion and volume of biological structure, that are faced with the eventual and unfortunate aspects of breast sagging. Only those women possessing smaller sized breasts can escape such visible effects.
Breast sagging, in medical terminology, is referred to as breast involution. The factors that lead to such sagging, or involution, are, for the most part, involuntary, and center on time, nature's elements, the lactation and milk producing components, pregnancy, menopause, weight loss, and, in some cases, inadequate nutrition. Sagging of the breasts is one of the major concerns of women, in relationship to this part of their feminine anatomy.
Some degree of breast sagging can occur in women of all ages, due to breasts of females being void of muscles. Hence, for this aspect of anatomy that is unique to the female sex, the anatomical components which affix the breasts to the chest of women are composed of connective tissue mass and ligaments.
Based upon the natural intended purpose for breasts, in regards to the female sex of humans, is in their primary function for the production of milk, combined with nature's biological ability to feed or nurse their respective infants. Relevant to such naturally intended functionality, comes the eventual occurrence of breast involution, which leads to breast sagging.
Upon either the breasts completion of manufacturing milk during the weaning process or immediately following pregnancy, should the woman choose not to breastfeed, the internal parts of the breasts that produce the milk, lessen in size, as they shrink up, naturally, as such production is no longer needed. In the event that a woman never experiences a pregnancy or childbirth, then this process of breast involution will occur at the time of menopause. Eventually, in either instance, an amount of fat will be distributed through the body and into the breasts, presenting an amount of visible fullness, though, regretfully, the effects of sagging are existent.
In reference to women who either have never gave birth to an infant or have completed menopause, experience breast involution at this time in their respective lives. These women will generally express immense concern as to the increase of breast sagging, fearing that such process is an abnormality. The progressions of time in correlation with age are the contributing factors involved. For women who tend to be full-figured, the breasts will contain additional fat tissue. This additional mass of fatty tissue will add weight to the breasts of the larger sized woman, resulting in the earlier effects of sagging.
To compensate, in visual presentation, such women can conceal the sagging syndrome by a suitable foundation garment, mainly, the brassier or bra. A final concern on this particular factor of the sagging breasts is in the positioning of the nipples. The conception of numerous women is that the breasts should appear lifted and lateral, with the nipple pointed directly ahead. However, while optimally desired, such presentation is attributed to the breasts of youthful or teenage women.
Weight loss in women also contributes to breast sagging. Naturally, as anyone losses weight, fat is greatly reduced, and muscle is developed. However, whereas women's breasts are concerned, there is a void of any muscles. Amid this process, an amount of the fat within the breast is lost, combined with the fact that, due to a lack of muscle contraction, the skin and ligaments of the breasts fail to retract. Hence, as a result, the breasts appear empty, causing them to sag. In an effort to combat such sagging, women can focus on a nutrition diet that includes vitamins to enhance the skin.
The element that always directs the breasts downward, and, that no one on Earth can control is a natural force or element of the Earth, itself – gravity. While the ligaments and skin of the breasts are not capable of contracting, their respective elasticity can most certainly be stretched. In relationship to the amount of such elasticity are the relative aspects of genetics, the normal processes through aging, and dietary habits. Weight, as in the size of the breasts, also unite with gravity, in a sort of subtle "tug of war," that plays towards the pulling aspects, which lead to breast sagging.
To summarize breast sagging would be to define the anatomy of the breast, and the term sagging. Breasts, in relevance to human females, refers to the upper ventral region of the torso. This region consists of what is referred to as the mammary glands, which produce milk for born infants. Sagging references the effect of "hanging downwards," due to an exhausted state or weakened condition. Therefore, the breasts endure natural forces, functionality, weight and age throughout the span of a woman's life and related cycles.
